Each spring semester, we conduct a teaching evaluation that focuses on the evaluation of the individual subjects, teaching and the lecturers for each programme.
This is a part of quality assurance and quality development for the programmes, and the results are used, among other things, to determine whether the students judge that the teaching is at the appropriate level or whether there is room for improvement in the frameworks set for the teaching.
Method for evaluation
The Quality Department identifies, in cooperation with the heads of department for each programme, when each class should participate in the questionnaire surveys. The data collection is flexible from programme to programme and is therefore customised according to the teaching rhythm for each programme.
The questionnaire is prepared by the Quality Department. In the questionnaire, the students are asked to answer a series of questions on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest score and 5 is the highest score.
