List of subjects (Pending confirmation for the 2016 joint semester)

Lessons Monday to Friday are from 8.00-11.20 and 13.00-16.20. All classes will be attended by both Danish and Chinese students (except language classes).

  • Basic Chinese (mandarin)
    • 32 lessons
    • Spoken Chinese. Focus is to learn some basic Chinese words and sentences to enable you to “survive” as an intern.

  • Macro economics
    • 24 lessons
    • Macro economical terms and models in theory and practice. Focus on European economic figures. 

  • International Marketing
    • 24 lessons
    • The marketing mix - in theory and practice. Focus on the marketing plan and its economic consequences.

  • Sales and Negotiation
    • 10 lessons
    • Theory and practical training in sales and negotiation with focus on European business culture. The sales process, personal selling, sales psychology, negotiation technique and sales management are all areas covered during this course.

  • Project Management
    • 14 lessons
    • Introduction to project management. Areas covered are project planning, cost management, resource management, risk assessment and project communication. Subjects taught will be exemplified by practical project management used for EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.
       
  • Management and HR in China
    • 8 lessons
    • How do Chinese companies work with attracting, recruiting and developing employees.

  • Doing Business in China
    • 32 lessons
    • Introduces the major strategic and operational issues faced by multinational corporations when doing business in the Chinese market. Juridical, economic and cultural issues are covered.

  • China’s foreign trade
    • 32 lessons
    • Introduces China’s foreign trade status, policies, procedures, regulations and traditions. Important public institutions will be introduced.

  • Logistics and E-commerce in China
    • 32 lessons
    • Introduction to Chinese logistics and infrastructure and to Chinese E-commerce including how to use www for presentation and trade.

  • China’s economy
    • 32 lessons
    • Review of China’s overall economic development. Included is an analysis of challenges in foreign trade and China’s economic restructuring and development after the financial crisis.
