‘Branding in Buenos Aires’

The winter school “Branding in Buenos Aires” is a two-week course which can substitute one of the electives during your programme. The course is ideal for students who want to incorporate a different type of elective in their educational profile.

The purpose with the elective course “Branding in Buenos Aires” is to obtain skills and knowledge in place branding (city and destination branding).

Get hands-on experience with branding and storytelling

The course offer hands-on experience with positioning and promoting a company which operates in Buenos Aires and provides hospitality and events for tourists. For this purpose, Business Academy Aarhus will provide you with the theoretical insights in experience design and knowledge of interactions between tourists, places and intangible cultural heritage.

You will get hands-on experience with branding and storytelling while working with students from Universidad Nacional de Lanús in Buenos Aires.

The course is divided into four main areas:

  • Place branding
  • Storytelling
  • Experience economy
  • Tourism theory

The course is a blend of lectures at Universidad Nacional de Lanús, field research and teamwork in Buenos Aires. The course will be taught in English by lecturers and professors from the Universidad Nacional de Lanús and Business Academy Aarhus.
