Social events
Your social life is an important aspect of studying. A number of events are organised at the beginning of the programme so the students can get to know each other. A number of other events will take place at intervals during the course programme. The students organise and run some of the activities through the Student Council.
Each and every Friday from 13 o’clock the students from AARHUSTECH are meeting up in the Friday bar – Student Lounge, where it is possible to enjoy a beer or a soda. The bar has access to a number of different games and activities that can be borrowed during your stay at the bar.
The bar is run by the students and the profit is used to arrange theme parties, sports events and similar.

Student Council
The Student Council is the students’ council and is concerned with issues in relation to the course programme and the study environment. The Council is comprised of representatives from each class. Ad hoc committees are set up whenever the need arises, for example tutor and party committees.
We value the opinion of our students very highly. The students are regarded as the most important asset of our education and of course we value every piece of advice or information we can get to improve the conditions for the students. The student council is the collective voice of our students and we spend a lot of resources to make sure that our students actually use this voice.
The student council consists of students who volunteer to give their opinion and debate matters concerning the school, the education and the students in general. The council’s main goal is to make communication between the academy and the students better and to make sure the students have a way to express their opinions about the things that matters to them. Besides the students one lecturer takes part in the meetings to make sure small matters are resolved quickly and easily and of course to support the students in more serious matters.
