Study Environment at Tretommervej
Business Academy Aarhus at Tretommervej in Vejlby shares the facilities with Green Academy Aarhus. Here you find a pleasant and welcoming study environment characterised by social interaction and shared activities since some of the students live in-house during their studies.The department also acts as a live-in college for some of the students in the farming programmes and some of the other students can also rent one of the 130 rooms at one of the colleges under the Academy.

Career Centre
The Career Centre at Aarhus Business Academy will act as a source of inspiration and help you determine how to implement what you have in mind for your internship and your career. You are welcome to visit the Career Centre throughout your studies at the Academy, where we offer both individual counselling and courses for groups of students.

InterCultureClub
InterCultureClub - or ICC - is Business Academy’s “club” for Danish and international students that offers social activities in an intercultural atmosphere. A social event is organised every month and speciel events are organised throughout the year depending on suggestions and demand.
The ICC is rooted in the International Office and is administered by the student helper, Sille Lukk. Students who would like to commit themselves to the ICC in particular have a great oppotunity to influence the selection of activites.
All international students that start up at programmes at Business Academy Aarhus have prepaid a membership fee as part of the materials fee paid in connection with admission.

Library
The library offers a wide range of books, journals and magazines, papers and online subscriptions. In addition to this, the librarians teach data collection and information searches as are required used in your projects.

Parties
Traditionally a number of party functions are organised during the term. These parties are organised together with the students. The dates of the parties will be posted in the calendar.
Social events and activities
Together with the Academy the Student Council organises a range of functions open to all students at the Academy. These functions can be of a political, cultural or academic nature or involve sports.
Students are free to use the gym at Agerbæksvej 13. The gym may be taken up by other paying users during the day and sometimes for certain periods also outside tuition hours and during weekends (see poster on the door).
The Academy’s ceremonial hall is also used for sports and you can for example play badminton and volleyball there (put your name down on the list at the entrance to the hall).
You can also use the beach volleyball court in front of college 6 and the basketball court next to the parking lot behind the dining hall.
The Academy has two common television rooms.

The Student Council runs the lounge-like room ‘Drænrøret’ (‘The Drain’) which is at the students’ disposal. ‘Drænrøret’ is open every day and has a projector and a widescreen, among other things. The bar is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Student Council also runs the pool room.
The Council also has access to the room known as ‘Spiserøret’ ('The Gullet’) which is ideal for class parties etc. House rules and rules governing the use of the room are posted in the room.

Studenterhus Aarhus
Studenterhus Aarhus is a lively meeting place for both Danish and international students. You may visit as a regular guest, a volunteer or join as a member. As a member you are entitled to a lot of benefits offered by Studenterhus Aarhus. You get to enjoy discounts on tickets for local or international concerts and events organised throughout the year; 50% off for selected events in Musikhuset Aarhus (The Concert Hall Aarhus) and up to DKK 40 discount for selected movies in Bio City and Metropol cinemas.
Studenterhus Aarhus has a cafe and a bar that are operating during the semesters but only the cafe is open during the summer. The cafe also offers a place for you to conduct your study groups or projects. On Tuesdays they arrange “International Nights” which is the perfect opportunity for you to mingle with other international and Danish students from all around Aarhus.
You can also rent a bicycle from Studenterhus Aarhus. The rental price is DKK 1,250 for one semester, where DKK 650 is the rental price and DKK 600 is for the deposit. You will get your deposit back at the end of the rental period, assuming that you returned the bicycle in good condition.
The fee for membership in Studenterhus Aarhus is DKK 105 per year. You are automatically a member if you are an exchange student and you can just pick up your membership card from the Studenterhus by presenting your student card. You can still join their events and activities even if you are not a member.
