Admission Requirements

The Bachelor’s top-up programme in International Sales and Marketing Management is designed to be a direct top-up possibility to the AP degree in Marketing Management. Therefore, in order to be admitted to the programme, you must have completed the AP degree or an equivalent degree (see below).

Graduates from the Marketing Management Programme with a weighted average of minimum 5.0 (according to the 7-point grading scale), will be guaranteed admission to the programme. The average must be calculated from the marks from specific exams, as written on the diploma. Applicants with an average less than 5.0 must enclose a motivation letter and CV listing educational experience, relevant courses, english test results as well as any work experience together with the application. Please also submit documentation.

If you apply for admission to the Bachelor’s degree programme in International Sales and Marketing Management and you have not earned an AP Degree in Marketing Management, you must supplement your qualifications either by

  • taking various subjects from the AP Degree in Business combined with a digital test based on the curriculum from the 1st semester (se syllabus below), or by
  • passing the first year of the Marketing Management programme 

The grades from your degree, any supplementary academy courses and the result of the digital test are summed up to constitute your admission grade. Applicants with an average of 5.0 will be guaranteed admission to the programme.

The digital test will take place on 24 June 2013 at 13-15. All written aid is allowed.

AP degree in International Sales and Marketing (part-time)
The degree is a qualifying exam, compulsory subjects are Business Administration and Business Law.

AP graduate in Financial Management
In order to be accepted as an AP graduate in Financial Management the supplementation must include:

  • Logistics (recommended) 
  • Digital test 

AP graduate in Logistics Management
In order to be accepted as an AP graduate in Logistics Management the supplementation must include:

  • Digital test
  • Marketing

AP graduate in Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management
In order to be accepted as an AP graduate in Service Management the supplementation must include:

  • Digital test or
  • Business law and Logistics


AP graduate in Design & Technology
Since admission with an AP degree in Design & Technology depends on your choice of specialisation, admission will be based on an individual assessment. Generally, credits will only be given to applicants who are applying for admission to specialise in marketing, business or sales.

The academic supplement must comprise:

Specialisation in Marketing and in Sales or Retail Marketing:

  • Digital test
  • Business Economics
  • Global Economics.

 

Specialisation in Business

  • Digital test
  • Marketing
  • Business Economics
  • Global Economics

     

AP graduate in Retail Marketing
In order to be accepted as an AP graduate in Retail Marketing the supplementation must include:

  • Digital test
  • Marketing (can be disregarded if your internship comprised a certain degree of marketing-related assignments) 
  • Global economics

AP graduate in Multimedia Design & Communications
In order to be accepted as an AP graduate in Multimedia Design & Communications the supplementation must include:

  • Digital test
  • The 3rd semester of the AP degree in Marketing Management

 

Specific admission requirements

The specific admission requirements for the Bachelor of International Sales and Marketing Management are mathematics at the Danish B-level or Business Economics at the Danish B-level and English at the Danish B-level. All courses must be passed before commencement of study.

 

English test

If your background is other than a Danish AP degree, you must also meet our requirement of an officially approved English test.

We accept these tests with the minimum scores:

TOEFL Internet based: 83
TOEFL Paper based: 560
Cambridge test: CAE A, B or C
Oxford Placement: 160 (min. 80 in each part)
Oxford Online Placement test: C1
