Business Academy Aarhus to choose this year’s best internship company
Students from the Academy's 27-degree programmes can now nominate their internship company as Denmark's best internship company.
You can now nominate your internship company to be in the race as Denmark’s best internship match.
Business Academy Aarhus encourages all former and current students doing their internships – Danish and international - to participate in the competition.
Internships are the DNA of business academies
The winner will progress to the national championships which this year will be held at Centralværkstedet in Aarhus on Tuesday, 19 May 2020, where Denmark's best internship company will be crowned from among the country’s 8 business academies.
‘The interaction with the business community is the focal point for the Danish Business Academies and not least for Business Academy Aarhus. This competition puts even more focus on our valuable partnership with the companies and the ‘close to practice’ educational programmes, which is the very DNA of all the business academies,’ says Christian Mathiasen, Rector at Business Academy Aarhus.
A tribute to the good cooperation
Each year, approximately 2,000 students from Business Academy Aarhus do their internships.
An internship is a compulsory part of all the 27-degree programmes at the Academy. The competition is the opportunity for students to give their internship company a pat on the shoulder for their effort.’
It is during their internship that students get to actually test their skills and translate their knowledge into value. For many of our students, the internship even opens the door to a job,’ says rector Christian Mathiasen.

In 2019, another Financial Management and Services bachelor student, Louise Kjær Petersen, had such a good professional and social experience with RAMBØLL Management Consulting that she won the Jury's Special Award at the nationwide finals in 2019 (picture), after winning the local finale at Business Academy Aarhus.
