The message disappears permanently when you click on it, but you can always delete cookies from again.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser in order to recognise your computer, mobile or equivalent on subsequent visits. There is no personal information stored in our cookies, and they cannot contain viruses.

Cookies are used on most websites and serve two basic purposes:

  • to support various functionalities on the website
  • to collect statistics about how the website is used

What are cookies used for on

Many pages on would not function if we did not use cookies. The search function, for example, would not remember your search results, and your navigation clicks back and forth on our pages would generally show you inadequate information.

In addition to this, we also use cookies to collect statistical data about the user’s traffic patterns, for example with Google Analytics, in order to be able to customise page content in the best possible way for our applicants and business partners.

The website also includes third-party cookies, such as Facebook, AdForm and YouTube, so that our advertising is as relevant as possible on social media or other websites.

Reject or delete cookies

You can deselect cookies by changing the settings of your browser. What you should do depends on which browser you are using. You should note that you may not be able to use some functionalities and services if you deselect cookies.

Processing of personal data when using

Personal data means all types of information that can in some way be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of personal data about you. This happens, for example, by clicking around a page, if you sign up for one of our newsletters or apply for admission to one of our programmes or courses on this page.

The purposes of collecting and processing your personal data on

The information is used by us to identify you as a user, register your purchases and payments and to be able to deliver the services you have requested. In addition, we use this information to optimise our services and content.

When you sign up for a newsletter, purchase a course or subject, or fill out a contact form (on or via one of our ads on social media), you agree and consent to Business Academy Aarhus collecting and processing your personal data in accordance with the following conditions.

What personal data do we collect from

When you use, we collect and process the following type of information about you: technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile, your IP number, geographic location and what pages you click onto. When you give us explicit consent and enter additional information, we also collect your name, phone number, email address and payment information. Explicit consent typically happens in connection with the purchase of a subject or course or when registering for newsletters or requesting further information about our products and courses.

We protect your personal data

We treat your information confidentially and securely. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that your information is not either accidentally nor illegally disclosed, deleted, degraded, lost, or becomes known by any unauthorised people, misused or in any other way is processed in violation with the law.

We use a handful of third parties to store and process data from web traffic, such as media agencies and web hosting services whom we have data processing agreements with. These third parties store and process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. An example of this could be data used for the targeting of ads about Business Academy Aarhus, which has been customised to your interests. Please note though that the personal data you provide to us via advertisements or postings on social media is also covered by the respective social media’s privacy policy. If you are logged into Google, for example, while you are on, this data can be linked to your profile on that service. This is beyond our control and is therefore exclusively a matter between that third party and you.

The retention period for your personal data

We store your personal data from visits to for the period permitted by law and your information is erased when it is no longer needed. The specific period depends on the type of information and the reason for its storage (e.g. whether it is a registration for a newsletter or a diploma that you have uploaded for an application) and it is therefore not possible to specify in general terms when your personal data will be deleted.

Get insight into our information pertaining to you

You have the right to be informed about which personal data can be attributed to you. You can also object to information being used, or revoke your consent for the processing of information concerning you. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. If you want to know which personal data we have about you from your visits to, and/or if you want your personal data changed or deleted, you can send an email to

Please note, however, that we cannot delete information that we are required to keep for a certain period of time - this could be, for example, information that we have to keep in accordance with legal requirements if you have applied for admission to one of our programmes.

The continuous development of the Internet may mean that it becomes necessary to update our guidelines on the use of cookies and personal data for Therefore, we reserve the right to update these guidelines.
