If the ‘I have a pre-approved admission' has been ticked off, we will need to see the relevant documentation.

To be eligible to tick this off, you must have a letter from the previous admission, which specifically allows you to enter the same programme the following year.

This approval is rarely given and only occurs when an applicant has applied for a standby place, received a standby-place but then there was in fact not a place available on the programme before study start.

Applicants often mistakenly think that ticking off ‘pre-approved’ refers to the standard letter of admission they received from the previous year - this letter does not mean that you are guaranteed a place this year. So be aware of your documentation.
