All applications are evaluated individually.
A number of selected applicants will be invited to a skype interview.
For admission, the Academy will evaluate examination results, working experience, stays abroad and motivation. Please enclose copies of examination certificates, documentation of any work experience (CV), stays abroad and a brief letter explaining why you are applying for this programme.
Danish applicants must have at least English B or equivalent. Other requirements are the same as for the Danish programme.
Non-Danish applicants must apply for admission on the same terms as Danish applicants. They are eligible for admission if they have either a Danish qualifying examination or qualifications recognised or assessed as being comparable to the Danish entrance qualifications.
Business Academy Aarhus recognises the IB as a qualifying examination on equal terms with a Danish qualifying examination. Besides the qualifying examination, certain other requirements must also be met.
In order to be admitted to the programme, you must have especially good and documented qualifications in:
All international applicants must hold a certificate showing adequate qualifications in English at upper level comparable to English level B of a Danish upper secondary examination.
This means that international applicants must have had English for at least 210 hours (classes of less than 60 minutes, must be converted into whole hours) during the last three years of their upper-secondary education.
In addition, they must pass an internationally approved test. We accept these tests with the following minimum scores:
- IELTS: 6,5
- TOEFL Internet based: 83
- Cambridge test: CAE A, B or C
- Oxford Placement test: 160 (min. 80 in each part)
- Oxford Online Placement test: C1 (min. 80 in each part) (offered at Business Academy Aarhus)
For non-EU applicants we only accept IELTS and TOEFL.
Please note that the English test is valid for 2 years, and the test must be taken either at Business Academy Aarhus or at the Agent´s office. We do not accept English tests which are done at home without surveillance.
Native English speakers and applicants with Nordic entrance exams (including applicants with a qualifying examination from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Scotland, or Ireland) are exempt from an English test. Please note that applicants with a qualifying examination from all other countries (including African and Asian countries, where the language of instruction is English) must submit a test.
If you have a Danish-language entrance exam (or another nordic entrance exam), you must have at least English B or equivalent.
Mathematics at the Danish C-level. This means that international applicants must have had mathematics for at least 125 hours (classes of less than 60 minutes, must be converted into whole hours) during the last three years of their upper-secondary education.
