Admission requirements

Innovation and Entrepreneurship

All Danish AP programmes qualify you to apply to this programme.

There is a personal interview prior to acceptance into this programme.

If you do not hold a Danish AP degree you can get an individual assessment. Contact study counselling at guidance@baaa.dk or phone 7228 6020 to hear about your options and any possible additional requirements if you have a different educational background.

How to apply

If you meet the admission requirements, you can apply for the programme regardless of your qualifying exam average. We will consider all applications received and all qualified applicants will be invited to a personal interview.

If you are unable to participate in the personal interview, your application will be assessed solely on the basis of your weighted average.

You can calculate your weighted average via the form below. You must enter your marks with their corresponding ECTS credits. Please note that this only provides an indication.

Please note that your personal interview and motivated application count for a lot in the overall assessment.

Personal interview

Before your personal interview, you must send your motivated application. Details will be in your interview invitation.

Based on your motivated application, you will have a 15-minute personal interview where you must justify your motivations for applying to this programme.

At this interview we will weight you according to the following criteria,  (in no particular order):

  • Motivation and ‘drive’
  • Persistence
  • ‘Need for achievement’ (a need to perform)
  • Creativity
  • Adaptability
  • Academic level

We will invite you to a personal interview. We will contact you via the email that you have provided in your application.

The personal interviews will take place from 5 to 17 June 2018.

Students applying from abroad will be interviewed individually via Skype.

The motivated application

The motivated application (1-2 pages) must contain:

  • Curriculum vitae: a brief description of your life so far with your education, recreational activities and possibly travel activities etc.
  • The reasons that you are applying to this programme
  • What you can contribute to the programme
  • How your fellow students will benefit from your professional and personal skills
  • What you are planning for the future
  • Examples of innovative and/or entrepreneurial activities/initiatives that you have been part of
  • Attach picture

You must send us the motivated application before your personal interview.

English test

If you do not have a Danish AP degree (International line), you must also meet our requirements for an officially approved English test.

We accept these tests with the following minimum scores:

  • IELTS: 6,5
  • TOEFL Internet based: 83
  • Cambridge test: CAE A, B or C
  • Oxford Placement test: 160 (min. 80 in each part)
  • Oxford Online Placement test: C1 (min. 80 in each part) (offered at Business Academy Aarhus)

For non-EU applicants we only accept IELTS and TOEFL.

Please note that we do not accept English tests that are more than 2 years old.

Native English speakers and applicants with Nordic entrance exams (including applicants with a qualifying examination from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Scotland, or Ireland) are exempt from an English test. Please note that applicants with a qualifying examination from all other countries (including African and Asian countries, where the language of instruction is English) must submit a test.

If you have a Danish-language entrance exam (or another nordic entrance exam), you must have at least English B or equivalent.

If you do not have an English test, you can take one at Business Academy Aarhus
