Campus facilities
On campus facilities for students at Business Academy Aarhus.
24-hour access
You have access to the Academy 24 hours a day using your student card (while you are studying at the Academy). The Academy might be closed for some periods. Information about this will be posted on our student intranet and the information screens on campus.
Study areas
We prioritise excellent study facilities on all our campuses. So we provide plenty of places to sit and study - either alone or with your group.
We have comfortable seats, couches and actual group rooms all around our campusses - eg. in the huge canteen area, the library, Basement as well as all the niches in the hallways. And during the peak season of project work, the Academy buzzes with hard-working students.
Library
The library is above the canteen area at Sønderhøj 30. The library offers a wide range of books, journals and magazines, papers and online subscriptions. In addition to this, the librarians teach data collection and information searches which will be needed for your projects.
You will need your student and access card to borrow books etc. from the library.
Book shop
The bookshop, FACTUM Books, is at our Sønderhøj 30 campus - next to the library on the first floor.
You will primarily find non-fiction on the shelves, and you can buy office supplies such as files, folders and wrapping paper etc.
All the Academy's branded clothing can also be bought here.
You can get a 10 percent discount on most books if you are a student. Material that is not in-stock can usually be ordered for you.

Information about extended opening hours will be available on Study Update or the info screens on campus.
Canteen
The Academy’s canteen offers a wide selection of food and drinks. The canteen creates meals and menus which focus on variety and healthy eating – always using fresh ingredients.
CREATE – makers lab
Our in-house makers lab, CREATE, is a part of the student incubator facilities in GROW. The CREATE hub is open for all students on request and it gives you the ability to start making prototypes or develop new ideas etc. You can use all the various tools to create prototypes, 3D print, VR, and much more. Create is student-run, and is open daily between 12-14 during the week.
Basement – café, bar and study lounge
Basement is the official student café and bar at Business Academy Aarhus.
Basement is the place to go to enjoy a coffee, drink a beer or soda with your fellow students, or just use the facilities as a quiet study area during the week. There is a wide selection of refreshments at student-friendly prices, and a comfortable lounge area to study, hang out or just play something! From board games and PlayStation to beer pong and dice games. The “after school” bar is open from 11.30 on Thursdays and Fridays.
Student Service Centre
The student service centre is where all our current students can get help and support. The student counsellors are also available for potential new students for sparring on various programme choices. There are three main service areas available:
Career Centre - and student and career counsellors
At our Career Centre, you’ll get inspiration and sparring when you need to clarify and actualise your internship, job and career plans. From the start to the finish of your programme, you are welcome to come to the Career Centre for either individual counselling or courses for groups of students.
You’ll get help with creating an overview of your internship and career opportunities as well as concrete tools to help you achieve your goals. They offer, among other things, courses in writing good applications and CVs – and will help you practice for internship and job interviews.
The student and career counsellors can also help you with information about our programmes and will be your sparring partner before and throughout your studies.
International Office
The international office can assist you if you are considering to do an exchange semester abroad, and/or participate in any of our international summer school opportunities.
See contact information for the staff at International Office
SU Office
The SU (Danish state educational support) office can assist you with any enquiries about SU, once you are enrolled at the Academy and meet the requirements to apply.
