Basement - café, bar and study lounge

Basement is the official student café, bar and study lounge for all students at Business Academy Aarhus - located at campus Sønderhøj. 

Basement is the place to go to enjoy a coffee, drink a beer or enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage with your fellow students, or just use the facilities as a quiet study area during the week.

From Monday to Wednesday, Basement is open from 8:00-16:00, where we offer a quiet and pleasant place for students to meet – you can organise group meetings, use it to study or catch up on your reading, or just hang out with your fellow students.

The bar in Basement is only open on Thursday and Friday from 11:30 and functions as the ‘after-school’ bar. Here you can enjoy everything from a good cup of coffee, beer and/or drinks. Unlike the first three days of the week where Basement is a cosy and quiet lounge, the place comes alive on Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings.

You can also play various board games, PlayStation, table football, beer pong or shuffleboard.

If you want to host an event or have a party for your fellow students, you can use Basement as your location. Basement can be adjusted to meet the needs of different types of events, with a flexible set-up for lighting, speakers/music and interior.

Basement is open from 8-16 every day. The bar is open every Thursday and Friday from 11:30.
