Can I manage to study and work?

It’s all about your priorities. Your studies should be 1st priority, but only you know if you can manage the workload of studying and having a job (plus having a social life). Studies at the Academy are full-time, so you should then consider class time, projects, self-study and readings to take roughly 37hrs per week on average. How much will I have to study?

Once you are accepted to the Academy, you are expected to be a professional student. Danes say, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing choices. With that said , we’re in the Nordic region, so expect some varied weather throughout the year. The weather here is temperate, and being surrounded by the sea can lead to breezy conditions at times as well. The winter can be cold, windy, wet and dark. The summer, in contrast, has long days and can have warm, clear sunny skies. Everything in between can be experienced at other times during the year. It does rain occasionally though, reagardless of what season we’re in.

Is it easy to get around the city?

Denmark generally has a great public transportation system, and this is no different in Aarhus. The Danes love the bike everywhere, and this is definitely the cheapest option.
