Parking

You can park all around the Academy, for example in the 3-storey parking garage behind no. 30. Parking is free but stay within the lines to avoid fines.

On weekdays it can be difficult to find a free parking space, especially in the morning. It may be an advantage to use the parking spaces at Pihlkjærsvej, Arla or at Mega Syd.

Charge your electric car

There are charging stations from Clever available (for a fee) on the lower parking deck in the parking garage, close to the ramp up to the 1st floor.

Disabled parking

There are several disabled parking spaces at Sønderhøj 30. The spaces are behind the building towards Søndervangs Allé and at the gable close to Sønderhøj 7G and 9.

Extra demand for parking spaces around study start

In August/September and January/February - when our almost 5,000 higher education students start a new semester - there is often extra demand for parking spaces. Take your bike or use public transportation if you don't want to drive in vain or spend a long time trying to find an available parking space.

Easy access on public transport

Don’t stress about looking for parking. Take a bike, a bus, the light rail or a train when you visit us at Sønderhøj.

Many regional trains and the Light Rail stop at Viby Station, just a 200-meter walk from the Academy. Bus lines 4A and 6A also stop right at the Academy.

When you come to visit

At Sønderhøj 30, you can find your way around as soon as you enter through the front door or take a seat in the waiting area if you have arranged to be met at the main entrance. If you have any questions on arrival, you can find help via signs or a contact number.

Step-free access

At Sønderhøj 30, there is step-free access (e.g. for wheelchairs) via the doors at the back of the building (facing Søndervangs Allé).

Smoke-free study environment

Smoking is prohibited throughout the Academy, both indoors and outdoors. Smoking is also not allowed on pavements, in the parking garages or in the parking spaces around the Academy buildings.
