Application deadlines

Please note that it is your citizenship as well as your educational background that determines whether you need to apply as a Danish, EU/EEA or non-EU applicant.

For all application deadlines, the appropriate documentation must be attached by the time the application deadline expires.

Application deadlines - Study start in August

Apply before 15 March at 12 midday

  • If you have a qualifying exam from a country outside of the EU (this applies regardless of your nationality)
  • If you are a national from a country outside the EU (applies regardless of your qualifying examination)

If you fulfill these requirements, you are considered a non-EU applicant. You can find all the special requirements for non-EU applicants here

Apply before 15 March at 12 midday

  • If you are an EU citizen with
    - a Danish entrance examination and wish to apply for quota 2
    - a vocational education and training programme
    - a foreign high school qualifying exam from an EU country
    - an entrance examination from Sweden, Norway, Finland or Iceland

Apply before 5 July at 12 midday

  • If you are an EU citizen, have a Danish qualifying high school exam and you wish to apply for quota 1

Application deadlines - Study start in January

Apply before 1 October at 12 midday

  • If you have a qualifying exam from a country outside of the EU (this applies regardless of your nationality)
  • If you are a national from a country outside the EU (applies regardless of your qualifying examination)

If you fulfill these requirements, you are considered a non-EU applicant. You can find all the special requirements for non-EU applicants here

Apply before 1 November at 12 midday

  • If you are an EU citizen with
    - a foreign high school qualifying exam from an EU country
    - an entrance examination from Sweden, Norway, Finland or Iceland

Apply before 1 December at 12 midday

  • If you are an EU citizen and have a Danish qualifying exam

Please note that there is only one application deadline - it makes no difference whether you want to be assessed according to your average alone or whether you want anything else to be assessed. If you want to be assessed on anything other than your average, it is your responsibility to upload any relevant documentation of the activities you want to have assessed on with your application before the application deadline.
