With ‘ESG Reporting’ you will learn how to report on a company's work with sustainability and how to report on a company's work with sustainability and responsible business operations

ESG reporting is a necessary initiative companies must take into account, as it can affect their reputation towards, for example, investors, customers and suppliers.

The subject’s content

  • Legislation of and insight into the ‘E’, including CO2 emissions, climate change and adaptation, pollution, water and marine resources, biodiversity, ecosystems, and circular economy.
  • Insight into the 'S', so social conditions, e.g. working conditions for a workforce and workers in a value chain, affected communities, consumers and end users.
  • Insights into the 'G', specifically issues within governance and business conduct, e.g. corporate culture, whistleblower protection, anti-corruption or political engagement.

Target group

People who want to develop their skills and improve their employability in Denmark. At the moment, we only offer our subjects in English for company groups. Unfortunately, these subjects are not for students or people who do not live in Denmark.

Your benefit from this subject

With this course, you will get:

  • insight into ESG reporting and an understanding of how to inspire, contribute and work with ESG
  • knowledge and skills to understand and translate new legislation, which will enable you to map and work with a company's ESG reporting
  • an understanding of principles, concepts and models concerning ESG reporting, as well as analysis tools for calculating a company's ESG.

Exam and ECTS credits

The subject is completed with an exam. You get marked according to the Danish 7-scale. ‘ESG Reporting’ is worth 5 ECTS credits.

With a qualifying education from Business Academy Aarhus, you have excellent flexibility. You can take a single subject, an entire programme or tailor-make your own programme that best matches your needs and desires. If you want an entire programme you can also combine your English subjects with our Danish part-time AP degree subjects
